Shawn is responsible for the organization’s financial planning, strategizing, and accounting practices, as well as its relationships with lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset, Shawn plays a pivotal role in steering the company’s financial direction, ensuring sustainable growth and significant financial health.

Shawn brings 18 years of finance experience across various sectors, including B2B manufacturing, plastics processing, and chemical distribution industries. Prior to joining DRT, Shawn served as the CFO for a leading chemical distribution company, where he was instrumental in enhancing financial performance and operational efficiencies.

His expertise extends to strategic business support with a focus on financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and business integrations. Shawn has a proven ability to navigate complex financial landscapes, providing insightful analysis and innovative solutions to support business objectives. 

Originally from Upstate New York, Shawn developed a strong foundation in finance and business at Ithaca College. Currently, he resides in Northern Kentucky with his wife and three children, balancing his professional responsibilities with an active family life. Outside of work, Shawn is a huge college football and basketball fan and enjoys maintaining a healthy lifestyle through regular workouts.
