Mark has the combined role of leading Engineering and Quality for DRT Aerospace. Mark is responsible for leading the Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Managers on the path to standardization and compliance to ultimately improve the overall effectiveness of both organizations.
He has over 40 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Shop Operations and Quality Leadership. His career started at the General Electric Company in Evendale, OH as a graduate of their Apprentice Program and studying at the University of Cincinnati College of Applied Science. Being promoted through the ranks of Manufacturing Engineering led to Managing Shop Operations both within GE and at Teleflex Aerospace. After opening a greenfield site in San Luis Potosi, MX to manufacture fan blades Mark returned to assume the role as Quality Leader which he has been devoted to for over 22 years.
Mark’s mission is to improve Quality and Engineering processes, share resources, and make compliance easy by using the Lean tools he applied throughout his career.
Mark and his wife, Debbie, are empty nesters with two adult children. They spend as much time as possible at their little shack on Williamstown Lake in Kentucky with their three dachshunds.
