Mark Eckert leads the Operation organization at DRT Aerospace. In this role, he is responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Environmental, Health & Safety activities. Building on a reputation of strong customer focus, effective communication, planning, and enterprise collaboration, he is driving a culture of focus on meeting commitments and providing value added services for customers. He oversees a highly skilled work force of over 200 employees that spans 5 sites located in the Eastern United States. They manufacture parts for Commercial, Military, Space, and Ground Based Power for industry leading Original Equipment Manufacturers.

Mark joined DRT Aerospace in 2021 as Vice President of Operations. Mark started in the aerospace industry as an engineer and in his 20 plus-year career has held numerous leadership positions in engineering, program management and operations.

Mark earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Industrial Systems Engineering, respectively, at The Ohio State University.

Mark is the co-author of a patent, and serves on the Industry Advisory Board of the University of Cincinnati’s Aerospace Engineering & Engineering Mechanics department.
