Larry Churchwell is the President of DRT’s Metal Packaging and Precision divisions, based in Dayton, Ohio.  DRT Metal Packaging has a rich heritage of innovation and quality in the beverage and food end markets.  DRT Precision built a reputation for high precision machining and quality with complex products serving industries from injection molding to medical applications.

 Larry brings over 25 years of experience to this role with 12 years of experience specific to the food and beverage packaging industry.  In his roles, Larry has been responsible for leading marketing, product management and strategy.  Most recently, Larry led marketing and product management for Automation & Equipment at Sealed Air Corporation.  Prior to Sealed Air, Larry held various roles in business leadership and marketing at Valspar Packaging Coatings in the food, beverage, and general packaging markets.

Larry has a passion in developing high performing teams and delivering strategic innovation. 

He received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Memphis and his MBA with a marketing concentration from the University of Maryland.  

Larry and his wife, Theresa, reside in Charlotte, North Carolina, with their three children – Lily, Abby and Caroline.
