Jeff Buie is Director of Materials and Purchasing for DRT Aerospace.  In his role Jeff provides guidance for the Buyers and Materials Managers at each Aerospace site to ensure that policies, procedures, and best practices established are carried out. His responsibilities include buyer development, MRP system training, protocol development, and material/CapEx negotiations as well as managing the daily facets of intercompany purchasing and materials transactions.

Jeff has over 25 years of purchasing and operations management.  He has held previous positions as a MRO Buyer, Purchasing/Materials Manager, as well as a Plant Manager for nine years.

Jeff has a passion for standardization and developing protocols.  Clarity through work instructions and defined processes provide best practices to manage the business.

Jeff has a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and resides with his wife and two sons in Simpsonville, South Carolina.
