Brandon Rinehart is the Vice President of Innovation for DRT’s Metal Packaging and Precision businesses, based in Dayton, OH. Brandon’s passion for the metal packaging industry was sparked when he joined DRT as a co-op in the fall of 1999.  Brandon held positions in engineering and R&D while studying mechanical engineering at Wright State University.  His fire for the industry intensified over the last two and a half decades, fueled by a desire to advance DRT’s heritage of ingenuity through perpetual improvement and impactful innovation.  Brandon moved his family to Colorado during Covid to rundown a goal of working for one of the biggest Can Makers in the world and has used that experience, since returning to DRT, to lead the next generation of end makers.  Brandon lives in the Dayton area with this wife and their two children.
